Main features of T-790 LED Sub-controller

T-790 LED Sub-Controller is a versatile 8-port LED controller designed for both DMX512 and SPI pixel lighting systems. Each port supports up to 170 / 512 / 1024 pixels depending on the IC type loaded, and outputs two signal protocols: DMX512/1990 international standard & extended DMX512, and SPI/TTL serial signals. When driven by Madrix-class software, each port can drive 1–6 units of fixtures (1 unit = 170 pixels). For DMX512 fixtures, the output rate is selectable among 250K / 500K / 750Kbps.

Reliability is built in: every output port features triple protection, ensuring the controller survives short circuits or reversed wiring on connected fixtures without damage. The controller supports automatic or manual ID numbering for multiple or single units, built-in test effects for RGB/RGBW fixtures, and DMX512 auto-addressing with address testing on a single port or all ports.

Inter-controller communication uses standard TCP/IP protocol with 100M/1000M adaptive transmission for stable, high-speed performance — up to 100 meters between two controllers, extendable with switches or fiber optics for long-distance projects. The built-in LCD screen displays the model, ID and working status in real time.

Used with our LedPlayer online software, users can monitor connection status on PC and enjoy scheduled playback, program segment selection, brightness adjustment, online white balance, playback speed control, scrolling text and image loop display. With built-in Gamma correction, colors appear finer and more vivid. The T-790 also supports online/offline integrated control — set the IP address, and the controller prioritizes online mode, automatically switching to offline effects when no online signal is present.
